Palma Airport taxi prices and how the meter works

Taxi journeys in Mallorca use one island-wide meter tariff. The Balearic Government set it under Decree 20/2025 of 23 May. You can read the rates in the official Mallorca taxi tariff published by Palma City Council.

On weekdays from 07:00 to 21:00, the flag fall is €2.50, followed by a charge of €1.20 per kilometre. The other rate band covers weekdays from 21:00 to 07:00, as well as Saturdays, Sundays and official holidays. During that band, the flag fall is €2.85 and the distance charge is €1.35 per kilometre.

An airport or port pickup carries a €4.65 supplement. For a journey starting at the airport, the minimum fare is €16.95; that minimum includes the flag fall and airport supplement.

The minimum fare also covers 7 km.

For taxi journeys, the passenger supplement is €3 for 5 or 6 passengers, and €6 for 7 or 8. Waiting is charged at €19.40 per hour on weekdays by day, or €21.40 per hour at night, on weekends and on official holidays. A Christmas and New Year supplement of €4.75 also applies.
